Meet our Director Paksini Govender is an LL.B graduate of the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal and served her articles under seasoned attorneys and partners of Singh & Associates in Kwa-Zulu Natal. Shortly after her admission as a legal practitioner, she began working as an Associate for Northmore Montague Attorneys, also situated in Kwa-Zulu Natal. As a result of the excellent mentorship from her previous employers, she has gained experience and knowledge in a wide range of legal services that forms a part of her practice. Ms Govender has found her passion in each of the services she renders, however, Family Law, Labour Law, Civil Litigation, Human and Animal Rights Advocacy and International Criminal Law form part of her special interests. Her drive, self-motivation and willingness to expand her skills have led her to continuously seek out opportunities which will allow her to broaden her skillset in order to master the craft behind a variety of areas of specialization. Ms Govender commits her personal time to various civic-based and human rights organisations such as the Active Citizen’s Movement and Amnesty International, for which she has held executive committee roles within. In addition, she volunteers for a range of Animal Welfare organizations in Gauteng. Ms Govender is determined to help the most vulnerable and marginalised in society and is dedicated to providing efficient legal services with expeditious resolutions to her clients. I worked with Paksini extensively during the period of 2018 to 2019.
